The 2025 COJA Game

On June 6, Full Court Prospects had the opportunity to attend The COJA Game 2025 as the scouting partner and what a night it was.

Organized by Julien Hodge, the event was a collaborative effort between COJA (Club Optimiste des Jeunes Adultes – Beacon Hill) and BWOE (Blessings Work On Excellence). COJA is a youth-led organization made up of passionate young adults who are focused on supporting their community through youth programs, leadership opportunities, and local events.

The game brought together some of the best basketball talent in Ottawa. Team Now featured current college, university, and professional players, while Team Next showcased the next generation of stars; some of the top high school athletes in the city.

The matchup was tight from start to finish, with both teams battling hard. It was a high-energy, back-and-forth game that kept the audience on the edge of their seats. In the final seconds, Team Next pulled ahead to take the win, proving just how deep the talent pool is in Ottawa’s youth basketball scene.

As part of the night, Full Court Prospects gave away a free scouting service to one of the players on Team Next. We’re excited to work with them and help elevate their game to the next level.

After the final buzzer, the celebration continued with a raffle, where audience members had the chance to win great prizes. The event raised a total of $1,345, which will go toward supporting COJA and BWOE’s ongoing community initiatives.

A huge thank you to Julien Hodge for running a seamless event and making sure everyone had a great time. The COJA Game was a true celebration of community, talent, and youth empowerment and we were proud to be part of it.
